Jubilation Galore As Nollywood Icon Lancelot Imasuen Takes Birthday Celebration To Orphanage Homes (photos)
It was all joy and jubilations as Nollywood Icon, Lancelot Oduwa Imasuen yesterday continued the celebration of his 50th birthday by visiting orphanage homes.
As part of activities marking the celebrations, "D Guvnor himself" alongside his friends and members of D Guv@50 global committee visited two orphanage homes, the Aid For Change and Amadin Orphanage home in Benin City.
The international award-winning filmmaker charged the children at both orphanages advising them not to allow present circumstances to deter them from actualising their life aspirations. He also prophesied into their lives and prayed for them to grow up and become positive contributors to society.
He recalled how he normally takes his kids to orphanage homes every year so they can be able to appreciate the privilege they currently enjoy while encouraging the children to instil the disposition of kindness in their heart.
The kids were elated as the Nollywood star brought a lot of goodies which includes, deep freezers, mattresses, bags of rice, cartons of indomie, baby clothes, slippers, bedsheets, tissue rolls, water and so many other items of necessity.
The highlight of the occasion was the cutting of the birthday cake by the celebrant and the kids at the orphanages. Thereafter he was seen eating and sharing the cake amongst them.
The children in turn took time out to pray for the Superstar and his donors after a powerful praise and worship session led by the kids.

' I am sincerely grateful to God for attaining this milestone and like I earlier stated my birthday is centred on the State of the Nation, and giving back from the little I have to the orphanage homes is a way of showing gratitude and appreciation to God, everybody deserves to be loved, and I will try my best to share the ones I can"
